Infrared Love

This sound work oscillates between spoken word narration, a delicate whisper, unstable pitch shifting, and an experimental soundscape. Intimacy interfaces with the digital in a search for a new cyborg lens to view the world. Anxieties of living under lockdown, persistent surveillance, and environmental catastrophe bubble to the surface.
The online solo exhibition was accessible through a website viewing portal which included a platform to experience the work, experimental design language, and a comment feature to capture community reactions for the show’s duration.
